For customers already registered for BPAY View, you will need to be re-registered against the new Telstra biller code at your internet bank site to continue to receive your bill electronically.
There a seven simple steps to registering
Step 1 After you have received correspondence from Telstra informing you that your biller code is changing, grab a copy of the next bill you receive from Telstra (via mail or at www.telstra.com.au/join) which includes the updated biller code 23796.
Step 2 Logon to your participating financial institution's Internet Banking site
Step 3 Click on 'View bills' or 'BPAY View' tab
Step 4 Click on add new biller and enter the biller code 23796

Step 5 Registration Process
Telstra requires 2 pieces of information to enable them to verify your registration.
BPAY View Registration Number
Enter your 13 digit BPAY View registration number (without spaces) which is located in the bottom right hand corner of the bill.

Customer Surname on Bill
Enter the surname of the customer name that appears on your Telstra bill e.g. Smith if the full name on the bill is Mr John Smith. Only the surname must be entered. In the case of a company bill, the company name should be entered.

Step 6 Once you have completed the registration process for Telstra, you will receive a notification on your internet banking site on the status of your registration within 2 days.
Step 7 Once you are successfully registered for Telstra with BPAY View, you will receive a notification when a new bill has arrived either via email or the next time you log onto your Internet Banking site.
